Cardiff take the pee, and the English FA let them get away with it.
Nowhere near my field of expertise, but Palace and Pompey were forced into Administration by their creditors NOT by the courts as far as I can see.

Playing Devil's advocate, what about us? Clearly, we are spending more than we can afford. You can all sit there thinking, 'oh no, we're different, our owners can afford it', but that doesn't really wash whilst they are 'loaning' the club their money does it? If they actually invested the money, then fine, but I don't see that happening; I just see our published debt increasing...

Well, the Revenue ARE the creditor in this case, and took Cardiff to court a while ago to force them to pay up, or be wound up. Admin wouldn't work as they would still have to pay HMRC in full. The judge decided to give them more time then, now HMRC have asked for an adjournment to allow yet more time, as they obviously can see the alternative being the Club going bust and them getting nothing. I suspect this mysterious "investor" will wait and see what happens in the playoffs, he will "invest", ie pay off the debt, if Cardiff get into the Prem. Otherwise he may well walk away, leaving Cardiff basically finished. No pressure then........

Hopefully if they don't go up they'll finally pay the price.

they should not be playing in the championship let alone the prem.
mind you its funny how the revenue is chasing the money now that it is in trouble itself
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless
