Depends what the £5m will cover. If its transfer fees then it'll ding dang do for me. If, as could be likely, it covers wages as well, God help us. Remember (and I'm trying not to giggle whilst typing this), Faurlin 'cost' £3.6m.:pleasantsuprise::pleasantsuprise:

...and some actually don't believe that our board and its lackeys just spin, spin and spin!!!!

And how are you going to do that if there is no decent money to buy "the right players" ?

anybody who believed the 15 million quote needs their head testing, we are the poundstretchers of the championship.

Its a matter if they decide to go further

Pete, I genuinely like you for your enthusiam for all things Rs, but were you sitting in the same stadium as me last season? Go on any message board and any club in the championship and pretty well all of them will say "we have the nucleus of a good squad, we are just four or five players short of a promotion winning team". And they wd be right, because all the clubs are much of a muchness. If the extra players are really good - Hooper, Simpson, Ambrose, Tosic, Watson - say then yes, we should go up, but if its more of the Clarke, Mackie variety then forget it.
