Still done well though, but can't see them stopping Forlan, Reyes, Simao, Aguero etc.
They were in the same competition as Liverpool and went further. Same competition as Shaktar, Juve, Hamburg, Valencia and went further.

Yes you can't compare the two but it's amazing how far they've gone.

Yep they have, but hope they get stuffed 10-0 in the final.

Hodgsons a good manager though should move on to a "bigger club"

Whys that?? They have knocked out the team 2nd/3rd in Serie A and beaten the Current German Champions.. Why would they struggle against a mid table average team.
Oh yes sorry i forgot, they play in La liga....

I have liked Roy for a long time. He has great experience overseas, has already done a great job at international management, is fluent in other languages (like Jose!) and is clearly a good tactician.

He buys well, coaches well and speaks well. He is respected.

And most of all he doesn't blame the ref, or anyone else when he loses.

Definately a great shout for england coach after Capello (though I do think Capello is as good as we could have right now).

Well done Fulham (can't begrudge them...it's not like they are a proper football team ;) )
