clint hill is not a left back.. he is a CB playing left back.

and we've tried that one before.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"

Not a bad list egham but not sure Higgs and Bothroyd are that inspiring, both reserve players in my book.

David McIntyre second time I've punted around a story about QPR being close to signing Clint Hill from Palace, but no takers. Hasn't appeared anywhere.

As long as they're Warnocks targets, and they are the players he feels will give us a fighting chance next year - fine by me.

It's not just about goals/stats. It's about character.
And we've been lacking in that all season.
Warnock knows about guts and character on the pitch, more than any unqualified Director of Football ever could.

there's more to football than just kissing the badge, a bit of skill in his signngs would be preferable

                        True.

But I trust him to get the mix right.
For every Taarabt, you need a Mahon.

Maybe better examples out there, but you know what I mean?!

Agree with Goddard here. Clint Hill doesn't massively inspire me as a name but as a club we have to learn to back the manager's judgement. If he thinks from past experience he can get what he needs out of Hill then why not? He might be thinking of him at centre half for all we know. We've got several ballsmiths already - what we need now is players with balls.

im happy to have clint hill as a center back option.. but not as a left back. we've made that error too many times. we need to just get tosic.. and at least give volz a chance. - he cant be worse than what we have at RB.

No mention of Ambrose - I thought he was supposed to be nailed on.As for Bothroyd, hardly prolific with 57 in 267,but a good target man at 6' 3" and 27 years old.

I don't like bothroyd, think he's a stuck up big **** and I will find it hard to support him. This goes back to a moment we shared while he was a Wolves, what a ***** he is!
