that with 3 games to play we would be hoping Sheff utd would prevent Sheff W from winning so we would be safe from relagation,when way back in august most expected AT LEAST a play off spot.WHAT A SEASON!,First Magilton,decent start but a fear of heights(like he had at Ipswich),nice football but too many draws and then the "buzz insident",and it was bye bye Jim,then very briefly Gallen and Birch,we were SO unlucky not to win at WBA,and it was Paul Hart,1 win and some dredfull football,1 month later he quits the "circus" and manager no 4 takes over Harford,an awfull run follows and suddenly the play offs are a distant memory and we are looking over our shoulders,and it gets worse,so he is sacked.FINALLY we get a "proper" manager in NW(our 5th of the season!!) and he gets us back on track,2 wins on the trot,suddenly all the "play off dreamers" start their threads,but no wins in 7 and we are back in big trouble again,victory at Palace ease the nerves,but we still need a point if Wed win today,SAFE!!!,but i bet NOBODY would have guessed a season like this back in august,not to mention Briatore walking.I have NEVER witnessed a season like it in 35 years following this club.

well BOY! were you right,team were not good enough,and MAJOR changes need to be made in the summer witha lot of dead wood shifted and we MUST,AT LAST sign at least 2,if not 3 "good" strikers as apposed to the crap ones we were signing.

too true...hopefully they will try and do it the right way this time.....balanced team,leader on the pitch and some good finishers.
