Pete you're right. he's done a sterling job. best sporting director in england. has been reponsible for putting together an unbeatable squad. not wasted any money.
thats why he's been moved sideways. its very normal for somebody to do a great job and be moved sideways and away from any of the decision making, you know?

It's been merged (by me) with the other threads on exactly the same subject.
Still here, for everyone to "enjoy".
I thought it best to do it, because I really don't give a toss about the political stuff.. and I'm pretty sure there are plenty of others on here who feel the same when they see half a dozen GP threads on the same page of this forum.

Vine...Player of the season??? Turn it in Pete, He played a few good games , linking up with Aggy under De Canio, but he was no where near POTY.. Twisting truth, as unlike some I remember past seasons very well.
I couldnt care less how Hall is doing at Newcastle, fact is he has been abysmal at besty and a vey costly mistake for us, as has Helgusson..
Gorrks good signing, Buszacky I believe Harford wanted him Tarrabt, if GP had involvement good signing, and as explained dont even mention Faulrlin, that was Gorman!!
I guess he had already made his money at base by then
