    Point for Safety

Not sure if my maths is correct, but with Palace still having to
play Sheffield Wednesday, I think we only need a
    single point for mathematical safety?

We're safe now, I guarantee that Sheff Wed will not get more than 3 points for the remainder of the season.

True - but that would mean we would then lose our 3 other games and Sheff Wed to win all 3 remaining games....so although mathematically still possible..highly unlikely

2 points is needed. as if palace and sheff wed win their next 2 and we get only 1 point palace are level with us and sheff wed are one point behind.

and with palace having a better goal difference if sheff wed beat them, they will go above us and leave us and palace for the last relegation spot, and their better GD would put us down.

but that is only if they win their next 2 and other teams results go against us.

            so tbh we are safe.
