Forbes is a defender and was good going forward but never used to cut in for attempts on goal. Why put his scoring record to the test?

            I wish you'd go away.

Forbes was folking awful and if you want me to start a poll so we can get a conclusion on this I will. Good, average or dog poo
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The only poll/facts I'm interested in is that he made 45 league and cup appearances in the 2001–02 season, 43 appearances in the 2002–03 season and 38 appearances in the 2003–04 season and he was given the 'Player of the Year' and the 'Players Player of the Year' award in 2004.

If you think he was rubbish fine, but I didn't and neither did this manager or fellow professionals who gave him those awards

A poll wouldn't really be a "conclusion" though, would it?
You didn't rate him, some clearly did. We were a mid table 3rd division side at the time, and Roberto Carlos was out of our reach.

If that annoys you, fair enough... but I don't really see why people should "go away" because they don't share your views on Terrell Forbes!

If you did do a poll, I would say he was "average".
But seeing as we were utter pony at the time, he fitted in quite well and did a decentish job.

Whether people have opinions about a certain player, in this case Terrel Forbes... just because they don't agree with you, doesn't mean that they should "go away", or are making idiots of themselves, etc..

If you're in a funny mood, fair enough. But you seem to have trouble accepting the views of others, in a fairly calm debate about some QPR right back from about 10 years ago!

But maybe wind back on the snappy stuff, a bit?

                            Please.

                            Thanks.

Goddard I am like this on a football pitch.

If I don't agree with something I say something.

If you want to destroy any life and soul on this board then by all means just keep reining me in.

You can disagree as much as you like, you can provide all the "life and soul" you want... on here, and any other website. Feel free, if that's how you see yourself.
I'm not asking you to agree with anyone.

I'm only asking you (politely), to - pretty please, with f****** sugarballs on the top, try and stop insulting people on here, and telling them to go away, just because you don't agree with their take on some footballer.

What you do on a football pitch, or a golf course, is up to you. And the ref.

And if you don't think that's fair enough, feel free to PM me.
I'm sure not everyone wants to read this rubbish.
