time to unleash the two vs..

Vosic and Voltz. By all accounts they looked really good for the reserves. Yes, its a lower level but both actually come from a higher level than we are at (Premier League, internationals). We are incapable of keeping clean sheets and although much of the blame has to rest with the centre backs for being constantly out-muscled, the full backs have let the opposition get in too many crosses. Admittedly Ramage has actually played pretty well the last few games I've seen but never really convinced by him. Don't see a great deal in Hill and clearly he has no future at the club longterm. Hope Voltz and Vosic might also support the midfield more, allowing players like Faurlin get forward.
If not, with Cerny freeing up a loan spot I'd hope to see Bent up top. We need someone big and ugly who isn't worried their alice band will fall off if he challenges for a header.

No the kind of game for introducing two new players of untested quality. Maybe do it when Newcastle come to town and it won't matter by then if we win or lose.

I dissagree. I think this could be exactly the type of game we should release these two. They're both experienced and attack minded. Palace have fullbacks who will bomb forward too, so it's fighting fire with fire.

              I say play them.

We have the worst full backs in the championship and its hardly throwing them in the deep end as both have played much bigger games. Oh and get that fat arsed stewart out of the side ffs!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Disagree with you mate. Volz has played, from memory, five times for Germany, probably in front of 80 odd thousand people and was a regular in the Premier League. I know less about Tosic (as you can see, can't even spell his name) but he is a Serbian international. Think a game at that poxy little pi*ey encampment in south london will seem like a sunday kick about for them.

Still I think fielding two or more new players for the first time is always risky. They might excel and lift the team - or have no presence and undermine the team effort.
I think it boils down to this: do we want to risk right now?
I am a cautious man, would gladly take a boring nil-nil result

you would be happy with 0-0?

Yet you want to keep faith in the worst back 4 in the championship????

                    Confused from Surrey.

Oh I would be happy for a point too Fish. I expect us to lose, however keeping the same shi te back 4 won't keep a clean sheet.

I still fancy Plymouth and sheff wed for the drop.

Only because they are on par with us when it comes to having a pi ss poor squad.

Two Vs!! SIAL you are a legend. I get your point though and do think they should be unleashed.

Saw this and thought of you:
