Rumour of Chief Scout..To be Appointed

Agreed. In fairness, by the looks of thig it's about time we looked outside of the manor. Walking past people like Ray Jones (R.I.P) and seeing them playing with mates isn't something that is going to take you forward.

If we're employing scouts up and down the country then we must also attain academy status. There are 100's of talented kids out there but having talked to the c of e and community staff a few years ago they find it very difficult to recruit as most youngsters want premiership teams. We are competing against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham etc. We should spread our wings and look all over the south for up and coming 15 to 17 yrs olds
