If your a good player you can go anywhere and fit in simple.

Everytime I hear talk about gelling etc I laugh...its a excuse fans and managers use if things dont go well.

So from the first minute you walk into Nowhere FC, you expect the midfielders and wingers you have never met / played with before to know the way you run on to balls, make space etc, also you are supposed to understand Nowhere FC's pattern of play, the work rate / ethic expected of you ?

Robsondinho, You are right, a good footballer can fit in to any system.
The game of football is about passing and moving, from lower leagues where I have played up to professional, a good player can adapt and if he is not normally not able to gel, it will be down to the manager's decision rather than his own abilities!

If they are GOOD players then it shouldn't take long to gel at all. If they are rubbish players then it will take much longer.

Man City are having a decent season with a whole new team as are Forest in this division because both teams bought good players who understand the game of football.

What i would have said.

Good players are good for reasons.If the rumours are true regarding certain players,NW has worked with 5 of them already,and are English speaking.
