  • The Spine of the Side

What should it be? Which keeper, centre back, centre midfielder and striker should make up the core of the side?

Chelsea have Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba, United have Van der Saar, Ferdinand, Carrick and Rooney - who do we have?

Come August who should be our almost undroppable 4?

You have indentified the 4 main area's of the spine of a football team. Not sure i would include Faurlin as part of that spine.(yet) - so NW has a lot of work to do this summer.

If Warnock wants 3 players I hope it's in these 3 positions.

Kilgallon only recently joined Sunderland for £3M, so I don't think he will be dropping back down so soon.
