Some interesting stuff in there, it was written about 3 years ago before he went to Palace.
Christ, he had a tough childhood. Sick mum who died very young, borderline abused as a kid by a couple of local *****s, freezing outside toilets, gravel for breakfast, snowballs for desert, all the usual "tough northern upbringing" stuff.
But it's a real insight into his morals and approach to football.
He's a good man, who knows that he is a moany old f**ker, but does it all for the good of his players and his fans. A bit like Fergie, in a way.
Some really good stories in there, and worth a read for anyone who is interested in how he does his job, and why.
