Maybe Lamps in for Gerrard and Lucio for Terry, but other than that, this is the best 11 possible IMO.

To be fair, you don't always need pace there. Yes, of course it helps, but having a brain is far more important. Besides, Stevie G and Essien won't let the strikers get that far ;)

Buffon has had his day. Cassilas is off form and don't get me started on Cech.

Shay Given has been the most under rated keeper for a long time as he was at an under achieving club like Newcastle. He's only really being recognised as he's now at Man City. I doubt you'll find a keeper who's made more world class saves over the last 5 years, anywhere in the world.

Bouma is back playing for the reserves but since his injury Stephen Warnock has come in and replaced him so is surplus to requirements at Villa plus is out of contract this summer.

Reina is possibly the best shot stopper, but his all round game is not even close to Given's IMO.
