There must be a contract clause...

(Apologises if this issue has already been discussed)

....if SSN is right and that Warnock is having to let our first choice keeper leave so that he can sign a loan player in a different position then there must be a clause in Bent's contract stopping us from releasing him early???

I thought we just took over Bent's registration and the majority of his wages as he is out of contract with Birmingham in the summer?

There is no limit on the number of emergency loans. So I don't know why we have to send anyone back in order to bring in any new players.

i think ikeme's loan period is ending. it's not that NW is sending him back in order to bring someone else in.

I understand we can't extend Ikeme's loan deal because we had already extended it but I can't understand why we are releasing him early when there are other loan players that could be released first.

Surely a keeper is more important than a player who can't even make the bench?

If Priskin starts tonight, he most certainly has something in his contract.

Any club signing a player with a clause insisting he starts need their heads seriously examining.

Agree about Priskin but I'm still confused about Bent.

For Warnock to allow Ikeme to leave early he obviously wants Priskin, Taraabt, Hill and Simpson to be in the match day squad and then have a 5th loanee in their as well but where does that leave Bent?

Think about it logically, Priskin came Ipswich, where he could not get a game. Why would they insist on him playing ? He has not come from a Prem club where they want the player to gain experience by playing at a lower level, nor a player coming back from injury who needs to get match fit.
