I wonder how many are on the box office database?
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

palace used to have a massive fanbase but i think chelseas success has eaten into it.

don't agree. Maybe in London, but there are Rs everywhere - there are not Palace and Millwall everywhere.

I think we are looking at 150k, maybe half a dozen more and that guy in my office makes another one.

Man U have more than 4 million - I think outside the big cities over a third of "supporters" support United. It''s like that where I live in Hmapshire. Though a load of middle aged ****mers have started wearing chelsea shirts in the pubs now - when they were not even into football for 30 years.

Although WHam maybe don't have massive national appeal I reckon they still have millions of fans by dint of more or less having East London/Essex to themselves.
If you could accurately measure things I think the answer would fluctuate hugely - we probably lost 25,000 armchair buffoons today because we drew; wouldn't surprise me if WHam lost 500,000 today either...... bet the figure goes up and down like a yo-yo each day/week/month/season.
