i'm not for a minute justifying some nob shouting abuse at a player's wife (and even less their small child) but also think these players are far, far too up themselves. they expect to be paid fortunes by anybody's standards and as if that wasnt enough they demand adulation, regardless of how they are performing. There is such a divide now between players and fans its hardly surprising some hot heads and nob heads do some stupid things.

Pretty sure Tommy Williams knows the score regarding himself and as a footballer can take the criticism aimed at him for his performances on the pitch. I'm sure his Mrs is used to some criticism given her line of work also. But to abuse his innocent child however, is totally out of order and can never be justified.
