    The new striker....

Hooper from S****horpe fits the bill had a good season in the CCC decent finisher and I think Warnock was after him in the summer for Palace.

    Just speculating though !

Decent finisher but is he the best striker to complement Jay? I would suggest not!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Why would S****horpe lend their best player to a direct rival?
They're not in any money trouble, and I assume they want to stay up!

Maybe we'll buy him in the summer? But no way will they just lend him out now.

        not from palace.....
        would be a good signing
i think its ambrose, sooner rather than later

imagine we sign "hooper" and we play in hoops and are the "super hoops"???
dunno what the marketing team could come up with there as no argentina flag to iron on!

You somehow think the script is written with such a sirname.

Don't think "lend" comes into it. From what Pete was saying it was with a view to a permanent transfer - bit like Buz - so guess it comes down to money, the loan wd just be a way of getting round the fact the window has closed.

Wd like Hooper but the nudges and hints were that it was Henderson. Both good.

Agree. Think we need a bigger man to partner Jay. Hooper is good but we need a different type of player.

I agree as neither are particularly big men. When you are losing with 15 to go then having both on is fine trying to chase the game but I don't think we will play a style of football which suits their style of play from the off.
