BG was on Talksport a little while ago with Stan Collymore and the othe co-presenter (couldn't see this metioned anwhere else).

He basically said he wanted Warnock to stay but NW didn't have the stomach for it anymore. He said no players are going with Warnock and definantly not at a cut price.

BG still hopes to have a prefered bidder this month and has been told by a group of guys (Parish and co???) that they will step in if they have to so not to worry if no one is in place.

He hopes to unite the ground with club but he said the Selhurst Park administrators are a bit behind him because their process has only just started.

Stan said that Croydon has a large catchment area, he said its a great place and has previously lived there, BG agreed.

You always have to be sceptical in these situations but BG seems to be doing the best possible job to keep the fans happy which he doesn't have to do.

Contradicting himself a little there, firstly no players will be leaving with NW, then well not cut price anyway.......so that would mean players could be leaving at the right price ?

The fact you have appointed Paul Hart instead of Coppell,Southgate,Dowie speaks volumes.He is a proven failure.

administrators I am afraid cannot be trusted, my company was in administration last year and they promised to give preferential treatment to a buyer who was keeping the company at the same building meaning 20 of us would keep our jobs, right at the last an Irish buyer came in and offered £1,000 more, without any thought for us they accepted the offer and only backed down when the other guy made a final offer increasing his stake by another 10 grand which the Irish company refused to match.
So what they say and what they do are very very different things, some of the things they did were laughable, selling the kettle and hoover for £50, in a £400,000 buy out !

Sorry, but when I saw Hart say he was only contacted last night for the first time, you have to doubt that very much.

it was not this board, but a palace forum who suggested Warnock coming here first as far back as the 12th February.

Okay, Palace may find a buyer and good luck to them, but the manager going does inidcate players will. The wage bill must still be very big for the club.

If I was a Palace fan i'd be asking where all the money for the FA Cup run had gone and why the football league are being so strict with them, not able to bring in one loan player. the problems at Palace seem far greater than the administrator is letting on.

I have no basis at all to think it will be immediate.

I suggest Warnock will look over the team we have first.

I think in next couple of weeks we might get one (not sure when deadline is?), then possibly a couple end of season

Stan needs to go and see a bit more of the world if he thinks Croydon is a great place, absolute rat-hole, unless they had some great dogging sites for the Brummie deviant??

Maybe we could go big on the kettle and hoover at palace......ring him up, grand for the kettle, 50k for the hoover......oh and ambrose, speroni, clyne, danns as loan until end of season and perms for 100k for the lot in the summer.
