As i predicted a week ago - Dowie will be unveiled as our new manager tomorrow until the end of the season with the option to extend if he keeps us up

Talks re Warnock broke down late last night - apparently he wants to stay at Palace and his wage demands are a step too far- Dowie had always been back up

Bad news imo - but dont shoot the messenger!

RE: Dowie.

The players rate him. GP and him get on..albeit it was an "interesting" relationship at times. Dowie wouldnt stand for any, and i mean ANY, interference/suggestions/conversations with GP re football. Saw this first hand at Harlington as did a lot of members from this board when a load of us went down to watch training. I'm sure Dowie has been sounded out however, I very much doubt he is the boards first choice.

On the plus side, many of the same players are still at QPR.

He also knows what Borrowdale is capable of.

My feeling is that the football wont be great under either Dowie or Warnock, but both are capable of keeping QPR up.

No need to apologise. If some of the so called people ITK apologised everytime they were wrong then there would be no space for any other threads. Just reporting what you heard - fair game.

Seems that Warnock signing isn't as cut and dried as some suggest on here.
