    Exciting

This post is based on the assumption that Warnock (looks like it will happen)takes over as manager but I have to say it is the first time I have felt genuinely excited about our future since the day that Orange Flav bought the club.

Out of all the managers we have had ( I know there has been a few) but this one is proven at getting promotion, he is English, knows Championship inside out and generally gets the best out of his teams. Something that all of the others have lacked. He is also strong on discipline and is hugely motivational something our players definitely need. The talent is there, the aptitude is not. Warnock will sort this.

Also the best Palace players want to play for him, Speroni, Ambrose, Clyne and Danns all love him and with Palace struggling it can only benefit us if they have to move.

This coupled with the new board takeover and the hope that Mittals will splash some cash and provide stability everything looks rosy.

I just hope that this comes off, we have had more and more again of our fair share of crap and deserve some good news for a change. This season has been the lowest point ever for me as a Rangers fan and the first time I have not been angry following a defeat, in fact I felt nothing, which was worse. But as I say I'm genuinely excited again.

    Come on you RRRRRRRRR's.

Agree. Although over the years i've not liked the bloke, he is the sort of person most people hate except anyone involved with his club, who all love him. The reason you give above are why, but also the fact he will do whatever it takes for the best of that club, even if it's coming out publicly and saying things he knows will land him in hot water. Who knows the odd rant about a ref may may them think twice next time etc...

I would be very content if we got him in.

Well said. Let's not have high expectations of splashing cash though. We can spend wisely and add to a squad which is already decent and still challenge with proven manager who has complete control. Warnock would be fantastic addition. I hear he's compared to ollie? Well, ollie was great for us but that's insulting to warnock. His record is far superior

To be fair i think that's a bit harsh on Ollie comparitive to the clubs they've had. Ollie did wonders for us with nothing amid massive expectation by us, and we were the big fish in that div at the time ready to be shot at. Plus did well at Plymouth, and look what he's done at Blackpool so far, who were one of the favourites for relegation.

By comparison, Warnock has been pretty big clubs with money.

With money? Not sure you can say that. Ollie was able to bring good players in. Warnock has got a much better record imo combined with good cup runs. Not denying what ollie did for us, just saying for me, warnock is better

Warnock is a rich man's Ollie in my opinion.

Similar skill set, Warnock slighlty more clever.

Its the old "he may be a b***ard, but he's our b***ard" syndrome.

Personally I think Coppell's style and philosophy would have been far better suited to the QPR tradition. However, I'd much rather Warnock than any of our previous ones since Olly, with the exception of Sousa. By the way, Pete, do you still believe he's rubbish and will finish below us??? (Been away for a while so haven't heard the latest on that score).

Can't wait for next week to see what the future holds for us.If it is Warnock he will get the team playing with passion which has been missing.

We defiantly need Warnock to "slap" some of our players into shape
