    John Gregory

Would he do well with the better squad we have now??

Doing well in Israel, and I mean Jose could have been in charge of the useless team we had then and still struggled.

I'm always amazed at how little stick the players get. John Gregory, for me, kept us up and created a great team spirit. How would he do with a better squad? Depends on their attitude. The lot we've got now have a lot to answer for. I know certain players are perceived as a waste of space and get a lot of spiteful, cowardly, malevolent, choke-the-baby when no-one is looking type of comments, but it is their attitude that should be questioned not their ability.

We haven't got a team, we've got a bunch of emotionally dwarved thieves. They are gutless, lazy, mercenaries without a conscience because there is no room for one in their pinhead sized craniums.

Any new manager should clear out the witless, spineless leeches that are sucking the life out of this club. Maybe, then, John Gregory would succeed.

Never understood the flak he gets. Always liked him.

Saved us from relegation when we were in a worse position than we are now and all seemed lost, and not just on the pitch. Would not mind having back now.

                      How?

Got a good spirit, made us decent to watch. Players gave their all. Was honest. Done a cracking job, moved on at the right time though.

Not a bad word against Gregory.

Laughable. His team are bottom in Israel! Lost their last 14 games! Was on Sky Sports this morning.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I was a big fan of Gregory, but as Hammersmith said...doing well in Israel???

                          Really?

By those standards, Paul Hart would be Israels Sir Alex Fergusson.
