This is why I have no sympathy for likes of palace. They both need cash and need it now, just take the best offer and clear some of the debt. Why did they hang on to moses so long? They could have sold earlier and made a tidy some. Same's true of portsmouth. They both hoped this debt would 'go away', wanted to keep best players to get promoted to prem and stay in prem. Other clubs have to sell best assets and therefore suffer on the field.

Maybe they knew tehy would go into admin either way, so they kept him to get some points for the inevitable 10 point deduction, rather than being cut adrift and relegated?

Funny that. Sure I remembered Eghamhoop saying exactly that almost a week ago and people still bitched. Then again I'm sure there is a lot on this board who hoped that wasn't the case just so they could jump on his back and have a pop at him!
