The Labour party and their crazy laws controlling the masses more and more! 30 years ago Erika Roe gets front page headlines about streaking at Twickenham and police have a laugh and a joke and say "very naughty, don't do it again" but now in 2010 a streaker is threatened with banning orders, sex offenders register, huge fine, criminal conviction, no job prospects etc etc etc etc! STREAKERS ARE PART OF ENGLISH CULTURE! :cheers:

If it was a streaker at a Wimbledon, Lords or Twickenham, that's what would probably happen, but football is the sport the authorities despise because supporters are drunken, loutish packs of tribal warriors, mainly made up of white, working/middle class heterosexual males, who are classed as the enemy of the state.

Yes it was all abit of a laugh but if anybody else ran on the pitch they would get a ban why should he be any different?

Sometimes common sense needs to prevail. Was he trying to cause harm to anybody - no. Was it good-spirited - yes... Maybe a suspended banning order so he doesn't do it again, but it is entertainment and people were entertained.

He could also get put on the sex offenders registrar for indecent exposure. Extreme I know but perhaps this muppet should have looked into the potential punishment before doing what he did!

I think you are being a bit extreme. The bloke who done it is one of my mates who i grew up with. Yes it was a stupid idea but how can he be put on a sex offenders list for wearing red pants. You might aswell say that every bloke who goes on a beach or in a pool has to wear a full body suit.

For 5 minutes of fame he will get a 3year ban,will most probably have to sign in at police station,
hand his passport in during England games and world cups etc,wont be allowed in a 2 mile radius of
anywhere QPR are playing 3hours before and 2 hours after the game.

*Also gets a criminal record and a banning
order which will good any job applications.


Hope it was all worth it.

He might get the 3 year ban especially as its world cup year but wont get any restrictions

And why should football be treated differently to other sports? It was all done light heartedly and it was quite clear that he was threatening anyone.
He'll probably get punished more than the Stoke mugs that attacked our players on the pitch a few years back.
Its a crazy world, some people need to cheer up a bit instead of listening to all the PC crap we are getting these days.

A fine and a suspended ban should be more than sufficient. Silly thing to do in this day and age but he didnt abuse anyone, didnt entice rival supporters lets face it pretty harmless stuff, hope the JP or judge has a sense of perspective
