Well it's getting so bad that at rangers we nearly have as many injuries as you have holidays!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

On the other hand, JCS has managed to stay fit. BUT... he has devised an alternative strategy for sagging off by getting himself suspended. He's already on 4 cards so just ONE booking away from a 1 match ban.

So Im guessing we're all in the dark about what injuries players have and how long they'll be out for?

Communication on player injuries is shocking!!

QPR striker Richard Kone was substituted less than 30 minutes into a game for the club's development squad on Monday.

The 23-year-old, who was QPR's leading scorer last season, has made only four first-team appearances this term without a goal.

He picked up an injury against Middlesbrough on 5 September and made a return against Bolton's Under-21s.

However, he limped out of the game after being hurt in a strong challenge, in a match which Bolton's youngsters won 3-1.

The nature of Kone's problem is not yet known.

Anybody know how long Burell is out for?

Compared to Kone & Kolli he's a world beater and we need him back ASAP.

I saw somebody say Burrell is expected not to play again this month.

I think the overall criticism of Kolli performance was harsh, anybody that’s watched him play previously could safely say he’s never a number 9 or lone striker.

His game isn’t about holding the ball up and bringing others into the game, his best attributes are his accuracy in getting early shots away on goal as a second striker.

The obvious selection would be to pair Lloyd with Kolli in the interim.

                Cheers for the update.

Kolli's game may not be about holding the ball up, but facing play I dont expect him to lose possession and set up dangerous attacks for the opposition. Last night there were at least three occasions when he was asked to trap a bag of cement and he failed miserably. He's a pro footballer and should be able to control a ball played directly to him, put his foot on it without passing it straight back to the opposition. That's not being rusty, its not professional standards. If he gets the nod for the next game then he needs to focus a lot more. I suspect Kolli didnt fancy going to L1 or L2 on loan because he isnt confident that he'd be able to do the business even at those levels.

But as you say, why not try Lloyd & Kolli. We have to try every option and hope something sticks. Our strikers really need to sort their sh1t out before the Jan window.

Fingers crossed on Burrell for a speedy recovery, whatever the injury happens to be.......????

I’m not a fan boy of Kolli as I find him just like Stéphan and fans a very frustrating player to watch, he looks to have a very overinflated view of his own talent, he’s not a team player, he’s greedy, he’s never fit enough to last 90mins, there was even a point last night that Smyth had a go at him for not closing his man down which under the current circumstances looks to be a true barometer of his character.

If I had my way I would sell him to the highest bidder in January.

Where I do disagree with you is saying he has a poor first touch, out of Lloyd, Burrell and Kone there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that Kolli is miles ahead.

When asked who is the most talented youngster on the books I wasn’t surprised for Chair to nominate Kolli.

He might have a great first touch, but on three occasions last night he wasn't able to show that.

We dont have too many options right now, so give him another 70 mins on Wed and see if hes better. He might be very skillful in training but if hes not doing the business on match day he needs to go. But he signed a new "long term" deal in Jan 25, so he probably signed a 3.5yr deal, so likely contracted to 30 June 2028. Nobody could get him to take up a loan deal in the summer, and if he wants to be at a championship club only it might be hard to sell him on. Nobody can force a contracted player to move permanently to L1 or L2.

I hope we find the right position for him and he produces, or he might be hanging around for a while yet.
