I hope JS gives a clear warning that even though Cardiff have only got three points, they have much better players than us, and beating them at home will be as difficult as winning an FA Cup Final, then......
Right now we have a real chance of another 3 points.
But must approach the game with the right attitude.
Maybe start with Alfie, and with Kone as sub. He needs a gee up!
Feet on ground. LR has hardly been a fortress for us over recent times and the banana skins are clear in the memory. Still, we are playing well. If only someone can find their scoring boots!
This is a fantastic pointer for where we are. Broadly speaking, the outcomes are:
A) Give them a good hiding, bang in goals left, right and centre to go top of the league.
B) Grind out a hard fought narrow victory and go 2nd, level on points with Swans at the top.
C) Choke
Over past dozen years, (C) has been our "go to" result in such circumstances. Can this current crop of players re-write our recent history? Do they have the balls to step up to the plate? Can they put down a marker? Do they understand that we are QPR and we can beat anyone in this division? Can they actually NOT fluff their lines when the stakes are raised?
So many questions to be answered! I'm excited to see what we do. I am fairly confident that we will batter them... Let's hope I'm not deluded.
