I seem to remember we beat West Ham 3-0 at home on the last game of the season, and still got relegated. Unless my memory is fading.......

Good enough for the Irons....theyre a disgrace to the money these players are on. Seen them crying on the pitch after relegation......bloody disgrace the lot of them!

I guess much of what you say is true. But I would have preferred Spurs to have gone down. Frankly they probably both deserved to.
They were there for the taking but Everton didn’t realise that until the last 30 minutes. Might be just me but Spurs seem to have been
the most guilty of players going over and writhing.
As for the Hammers, they need to escape that running track as number 1 priority. Huge mistake going there.

In Argentina, relegation is decided over a rolling three year performance, a system designed to protect a "big sexy" club going down because of a one-off nightmare season. Spurs would be in deep trouble with that approach with two consecutive 17th place finishes under their belt.

I think West Ham will struggle big time next season, they're facing 44 febrile cup ties against teams chomping at ths bit to give them a bloody nose (and 2 against us). I dont think they have the minerals to cope.

Spurs have a new stadium to pay for and perhsps this has impacted their playing budget? But West Ham pay circa £5m rent a season for their stadium which includes security, yet for all their spare cash they cant stay in this despite decent crowds. Something fishy going on there and bo wonder Karen Brady cleared off before the head landed on her. Rats runs from the sinking ship..

West Ham should romp the championship based on their crowds alone. But maybe they'll have to sell off stars in their need to close down debts. It goes to show how well run the likes of Brentford & Bournemouth are.
