Apologies if this is old news. Pub is reopening. As a resident of the area and street since 1949. this is great news . Some of you seniors may remember when the governor was Christy Murphy in the 50s - a vibrant place. I may be wrong but I think he was a Cork man.

I haven't been there since 2011 so the last memories I have of it were from those wonderful Warnock days. Perhaps I will go back there simply on that basis alone hoping to spark some synchronicity to get those days back! Ahhh nothing like wishful thinking with a nice pint of real ale!
