Just read that we have to pay Reading a fee for Mbengue.
Although he was a free agent last summer following the expiry of his contract, Reading were still owed a fee due to his young age.
The clubs could not agree on a value so it was referred to an independent tribunal that has now set the fee.
The fee is not published BUT it is reported to be less than the £350K we offered The Royals.
Seems fair and reasonable and the tribunal seems to vindicate our offer and valuation.
