Think history shows we should be ok with 4 more points. I'm looking at Portsmouth and Watford at home which we tend to have a good record against the latter. We need to get them soon as you can see confidence at an all time low. Ipswich away last game of the season is a non starter.

We can deffo stop the rot in this game. Drop Varane and get Vale in the middle, he's no good as a winger. Shove Smyth on right. Don't bother with Saito or a left-winger and get Kolli or Bennie upfront with Kone.

I'm happy with our back four - they have simply been thrown under the bus by an absent midfield. Midfield is where all our problems have arisen - see if Vale/Hayden/Morgan can get it together. Maybe shift Edwards into midfield and bring Cook in at CB.

Whatever... we can get something IF the players respond. If they put in another "no show" then you have to assume they've no interest in saving JS from getting launched.

Colback couldnt find another club and announced his retirement today, but yes, more experience is needed in midfield.

In hindsight, accepting the Varane deal from St Etienne and keeping and playing Field would have been better. Im not convinced Varane is going to get much better. I hope the opportunity to cash in on Varane hasn't escaped us.

I strongly feel that we will duplicate tomorrow's result at Leicester on Saturday... so we are looking at either 2 wins, 2 draws or 2 losses in next 4 days.

Can’t see anything other than another drubbing, poor keeper our midfield is probably the weakest I’ve seen in years and the team is very lightweight, Varane we’ll the less said about him the better, like Italian tanks in ww2 only has reverse gears if he makes 40 passes in a game 38 of them will be sideways & backwards, and Hayden seems to be copying him at the moment all the others are so lightweight they’re all just knocked of the ball so easy, as for Kobe I can’t question his work rate by his control and hold up play leave a lot to be desired he looks like he couldn’t trap a bag of cement. Also never solved the right back problem played CBS ther for the last 3 years, not sure we’ll win any of the next 2 , and need at least another 4 pints to make sure of avoiding relegation. He easily its forgotten how good we were a month ago. I’d go back to the pressing game and not have both varane and haden as it makes us sit back too much. Don’t think the sort of set up recently suits Ronnie in defence either. If we want to sit back need cook in if his contract allows….
