Reading a few pages on the Palace sites, the only thing that would p*** them off more than Warnock going to QPR... is Steve Coppell going to QPR.

Absolutely - Selhurst Park looks like it's been transported in from Hebden Bridge in the 70's. All them hills.............

Noades was Chair of that club for nigh on 30 years.....every season muttering the mantra "this is a big club, we have a huge catchment area...bigger potential than West Ham" etc...... and every one of those seasons miserably failing to harness this magical latent mythical fanbase or even get close to realising that half of Croydon already goes to Chelsea and the other half to Arsenal...

Still.......never mind, eh......I'm sure he's still counting the gold from his Altonwood days.....Uncle Ron, makes 'Arry look like Mother Theresa.

I think you can look at this in two ways. Either that he is staying which is why he is trying to add depth to his squad or as he knows they have a transfer embargo he is deliberately finding ways to prove to the fans why he has no choice but to leave.
