Mr Stephan: Stop blaming the schedule, playing many games per week, injuries, small budget, pitch…..

We are four points from the playoffs, just say ”We have nothing to lose, everything to win, and we will give it a real go, try to win all of the remaining games, playing our best players and then let’s see where we’ll end up”

I don’t listen to his interviews, he looks a very boring person.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Wonder what his excuse is for that

We've been "4pts off the playoffs" for months but he has consistently failed to capitalise on numerous opportunities to bridge the gap.
He don't inspire you, he don't inspire me, and judging by our limp performances he don't inspire the players either.

1 year 3 months is the average for the 40 odd managers since I have been supporting our brave little club.

I think that is actually longer than the average tenure of a manager in today's Championship. There's nothing left to play for this season. All JS can do now is show some signs he can handle the EFL - ball's in his court, a dozen or so games to win 4 or 5 and better last season's low bar.

Good post and completely agree , very uninspiring for the players . Just go for it , if we lose , so be it.

65pts is my top end target for this season now, so from the remaining 14 games we need 21pts:

                  - 5 wins and 6 draws (11 results from 14)
                  - 6 wins and 3 draws (9 results from 14)

Those options seem a hard ask right now!! But with the investment we've made into the squad, surely 9pts better off than last season doesnt seem too much to ask for.

Big 8 days coming up.... there's a genuine prospect of being 17th-ish in the table, several points off top 6 and just a handful of points above the drop if we don't take care of business in three tricky games.

It's certainly not the week to hear JS moaning about a 3 game week, injuries or anything really... he needs to start beating his chest, tub-thumping and rousing this squad that he's allowed to drift into being a weak, sloppy, slapdash and toothless unit. Basically, he needs to inject some intensity into our play.

I rather go down in blaze and glory then not trying! Because thats how it feels when we are playing away so dissapointing.

Yes these three games will say a lot about where we are and what we are about. I read much more truth and sense on this forum than lve heard out of our managers. It’s as much about attitude as it is about ability. Where is these players pride ????????

Bit off topic and not really "news" but Sheffield Wednesday will be relegated tomoz if they lose the Steel City Derby. The first team to ever be confirmed as relegated in February.

They will actually go down today if WBA beat Cov.

State of clubs like Wednesday and Leicester makes you more appreciative of the job our owners have done in unravelling the excess, largesse and fallout of the Briatore madnesss and gradually restoring us to any even(ish) keel.

                            Rinse, repeat against Southampton.

Handbrake and excuses released. Go for it, not just saying it, really go for it. Game by game. Mindset is 50%.

I wouldn't say we "went for it" yesterday - more a case of Hull bending over and asking to be shafted. Can't see Saints being so casual so we will have to be crisper, neater, more clinical and more "at it". We know we have those attributes in our locker, is up to JS to make sure we deploy them on Wednesday and every game, not just randomly every few weeks.
