Very true......BUT

We gave him an opportunity in English football, but he didnt show us that much respect by courting other clubs behind our back when it suited him. After we plucked him from Scandinavian football a bit more loyalty should have been given to us. He msy have saved us in his first year, but the manner in which he left caused the team to slide backwards and nearly caused our relegation again.....if my memory serves me right........

Yeah, the chant is OTT imo but each to their own I guess, but I wont be singing alone.

Who cares about Marti , bloke has never been on my radar since the day he left.
Glad he's gone as his football was to "safe" and boring to watch.....when whoever says he saved us wasn't that what he was paid very handsomely to do , he never did it for free .
Football moves on , I don't see the point of making songs up about him , everyone to their own ....

not fussed he’s gone js imo got us playing better football still think he gets some tactics wrong but we look like we can attack at least

as for a chant something along the lines of anything that involves backwards, sideways backwards sideways more appropriate

I think we need to show Marti some respect ,he kept a very poor Rs team in the division in his first season and the recruitment from the board and CEO didn't help him and personally feel he did an okay job and the reason he may have looked elsewhere may have been that the board weren't backing him and definitely some friction between him and Nourry who I think may have wanted Marti out, so can't blame him for scouting his name about, I for one will be giving him a round of applause, i think he deserves it

I would suggest ignoring him on Saturday, refrain from any Marti-baiting during the game but should we win, give him a healty loud chorus of "what's the score?"... doing anything during the game could lead to severe egg on our face you see.
