Visited my son yesterday (WHU fan I fear). Found out this belatedly about his mate, Mark Upson (52) lifelong Rangers fan. Leaving LR after a recent game, Mark collapsed just outside the ground with a heart attack.
Thanks to l those around him and to all of NHS, he was in Hammersmith Hospital within 5 minutes or so (Is that possible)? - also within another 20 minutes undergoing a triple by pass op + 8 stents.
Mark lives in Norfolk and apparently, if he had been at home in Norfolk, he probably would not gave survived.
Due to the speed of everything and the facilities at HH, Mark is now on the mend at home.
If you watch Homes Under The Hammer, Mark can often be seen as an estate agent, when they feature properties in Norfolk. Thanks to everyone involved in this.
