  • EZE affecting transfers?

Just wondering if club are waiting on possible EZE transfer before completing squad. Obviously if we get a cash fall, a better calibre player or the more costly that Stephan might preferred could be signed.

if deal does not go through a few loans will be sought possibly blocking progression of youngsters.

Bit of a conundrum get players that might not be first choice or loans, blocking progressive players and system being implemented.

Of course there might not be any more signings and squad will be thin, hopefully we do not have to sell before signings come in as first 15 players look good.

Nourry said in the fans forum that any Eze money will not be leaving the club as quickly as it arrived. The emphasis is to create a sustainable championship football club and selling players around 22 yrs to premiership clubs. He also said the owners cannot continue putting in £25m every season.

Every player on the pitch needs to be a sellable asset in the future, so I dont think we'll bring in any loan players and develop other clubs' players. We might pick up a few more younger players but the rest will just stay in the bank to fund the season and stop us losing £1m a month which is the current rate. The owners pockets are nearly empty.

There are strong rumours that the only thing holding up Eze's transfer is Palace finding his replacement.

Surely if he's off he won't play in the game today?
