Well he's correct when he said the penalties were boardline embarrassing. Even if you've played amatuer football you know that if you strike the ball at the bottom with power its going to lift. If you strike the ball more centrally it won't lift. The pens came at the goalkeepers at an easy height to save. There wasnt enough technical ability or composure to strike the balls low towards each post, or high into the top corners. With the keepers being shorter than in the mens game, professional female players should be getting a higher success rate than the men due to reduced reach.

Ive enjoyed watching the games and the pace of the game and passing was generally good. But why they're so incompetent at taking a penalty is beyond me. They're making it far too easy for the keepers.

Congratulations on winning the cup, but there's still more to learn.
