  • Gordon Jago

Has passed away RIP to one of the early architects of getting our club in the top 2 divisions

RIP Gordon, he was our best ever manager, certainly in my 56 years, he built the team of 76.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Great manager for us in the 70’s & very sad news, what a team he had & such a shame he departed but then came Sexton who took over that great team of Jago’s RIP Gordon

Yes. And Sexton didn't really take any steps to address the fact it was an ageing team that would need an injection of youth to mitigate the inevitable drop-off in performance levels of the older pros. Jago deffo built that team and sowed the seeds of that side that successful era. Anyway, very sad to hear of his demise - a true QPR legend.
