British managers seem to have paid a high price since Brexit.

But is that because of lack of quality managers or opportunities?! You could argue that apart from Eddie Howe there are few British managers that have succeeded

The problem is there aren't as many British players in the premiership as years ago, and the ones there earn so much money I dont think they can be bothered with management. Most of the foreign managers haven't played the game to any great standard and can cut their teeth in their small domestic leagues. The likes of Mourino, Klopp, Wenger to name a few. I applaud the likes of Rooney for giving it a go with teams with small budgets, whilst the likes of Gerrard wants the backing of a big bankroll.

I think our lower league players who still want to continue in the game are labelled as hoof ball players, so dont fit the resale model and getting prem loan players in.

Our football players know all the formations, it's their job! But seeing the likes of Derry and Hill as our managers have long gone.
