    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

From a Palace poster on another board...

I can't reveal where I heard this, but it is a source very very much involved with the club.

If we lose to Aston Villa on Wednesday, Neil Warnock will leave and join QPR. Their offer is on the plate for him and he's fed up of being constantly messed around money wise.

Also strong rumours that a takeover is imminent, with Steve Coppell and Gareth Southgate being readied as the management team.

Make of this what you will. I guess we'll see!

If true, are Palace making a better long term decision than us?

Coppell, Southgate & once again if true, a substantial lump of cash in compensation from us.

Yep - I really worry that Warnock is only coming for the cash and his heart won't be in it.

Shame as he is one of few who can turn the boat around.

I don't think it is mate. He wants to manager in the Prem so I feel he believes this is his chance to take a team there to manage.

He may not be the ricest man in the world, but he ain't short of a few bob so I doubt it's just for the cash flow.

He'll come for the right reasons and he'll nick a few Palace boys in order to prove this.
                  Your mum would love me...

He may be coming in for the cash, but you never lose the passion. If NW comes in then trust me, he'll put 110% into managing our club and making us a success, its his last chance to manage in the premierleague. Money wont change the sort of person that he is.

Not writing him off - desperately want this to be a success - but, to me, Warnock isn't giving off any positive vibes - it's taking too long.

Very reminiscent of Spurs long, hard pursuit of Juande Ramos....

Will these Palace players jump ship with Warnock if Coppell & Southgate arrive and a take over deal happens?, not so sure they will.

As usual only time will tell.

                              (just a guess)
It wouldnt be good for team morale if he announced that he is leaving before such a key game. Lot of money involved if Palace can scrape a win.
