I see he's skulked off to Saudi to resume life as Stevie Gerrard's assistant, his career has gone full-circle it seems.

That dozen or so games that saw us top the table at start of his tenure feels like yonks ago now. The wheels did come off over his last half-a-dozen games and let's be honest, it's been downhill ever since.

I do miss his training videos. Was enlightening to see how they were doing things and the drills.

I would welcome him back to replace Marti if he doesn't work out.
