    Ainsworth ahead of Beale

Last season, Beale had 5 points after 5 matches (1-2-2). Ainsworth has 6 (2-0-3). It is even more impressive when considering 4 out of 5 matches have been away from home.

Admit it, you didn't see this one coming!

Im a patient man and was always going to judge him on games after the window closed and the squad had time to settle. After the Oxford and Watford games I was going to wait for games 7-15 to properly assess how he was getting on.

Long may the current form/results continue and we stay away from the manager merry-go-round!

We may have losses to come when injuries show the holes in the squad.....but that isnt GAs fault. Look at the Board for the way it threw too much of the FFP 3yr cycle money during Warburton's last season. If there was money for an additional CF then GA would have brought one in. But there wasnt so he couldnt.

I think come next season when the 2020-21 losses are wiped, we should be in a better position to hopefully make some good additions.

Totally agree there will be a few disappointments along the way but as long as they keep this attitude up we can have an enjoyable season and enjoy our football
