GA wants them fitter and stronger so pre-season will be with the SAS in Hereford. We dont need practice matches as we're not planning to kick the ball very often.

ive heard we were set to play a team of farmers in cornwall but they have postponed the match as the farmers x1 all have calf injuries

          Would've been a recipe for more hoof-ball.

I do hope they don't line up pre-season friendlies for us against Peterborough or Blackpool as that would make us all really depressed.

In their last game, the farmers XI had their match interrupted when a cow came onto the pitch and gave birth to twins: so it turned out to be "a game of two-calves".

Bobby Zamora scored his winning goal at Wembly 9yrs today!

We should play him against the farmers to show off our GOAT.

While they are there they may as well arrange for a friendly against Oxford City newly promoted to the National League this season: another team that wear blue and white hoops and call themselves 'The Hoops'.

Can't say I'm particularly enthralled by these fixtures so far. I feel we would need a somewhat more glamourous occasion to showcase our shiny new recruits.

All I know is that in their previous friendly against us the Farmers XI got really dirty as they dug Dykes and ploughed into Field.
