On their way out of The Championship back in 2010/11 season, Scunthorpe United surprisingly thumped a good QPR side under Warnock 4-1.

Next season, Scunthorpe will find themselves in the National League North (tier 6). What an amazing turn of fortune that is, but it does illustrate how quickly things can go completely pear shaped.

Loads of teams have dropped down the league's , I remember seeing us play Rushden and diamonds.

Chester are in the National League North and used to be in the old Division One.

Darlington there with their massive stadium and Hereford.

Our friends at Luton also not so long ago.

since 2014 when Luton were in the conference and we were heading for the prem they've gone forwards on probably a much smaller budget than us, and we have just gone backwards, just goes to show how poorly our club has been run oh and by the way that coincides with a certain DOF being appointed

if you look at the National League most of the teams all have had previous lives in the football league

its basically a division 3

or in the old terms when the top flight was division 1 its basically a division 5

and the level of football is just as good as leagues 1 and 2 all the clubs in it are proffessional and the standard is massive

all these clubs from last season had previous league experience and some of them premier league top flight
