    FIFA World Cup appearance money

Found out something I didn't know today...

FIFA pay clubs £9K per day per player released for World Cup duty. So we will pick that up every day Chair and Dieng are away. Reckon even the worst teams who come home quickly will have players for a couple of weeks so we're guaranteed at least a £300K windfall. Could creep up to half a million though if they get out of groups.

Can't see Roberts going but any money would actually go to Leeds United if he went.

George Thomas may make the 26 depending on injuries - unlikely though.

£300k would be decent money. How many match days would it take to generate the same amount of money after all match day expenses have been met?

Be hilarious if he earned us £200K for going to World Cup. That'd be about 10x more than we could get for selling him! Talk about pulling FIFA's pants down and tickling their bum!

Yeah, especially as we couldnt even loan him out in the summer! He's a free transfer all day long.
