  • Third season of every decade.

Very happy how the season had gone so far. Ok, I am not going to get over optimistic as its QPR we are talking about! However, I just checked some past records of the club during the last six decades and it occured to me that the third season of each decade, something special always happened to the R's. One exception is 2012/13, although it had some prestige as we played in the Premier.
1962/63: We started the season at Loftus Road and continued at the White City Stadium.
1972/73: Won promotion to the old First Division.
1982/83: Won promotion to the old First Division. 1982 will also be remembered for our only FA Cup appearance.
1992/93: Finished 5th in inaugural Premier League.
2002/03: Played the final of DIV 2 promotion play-offs.
2012/13: Ok ... we finished bottom of the Premier League. However, was still an achievement to play in the Premier.
2022/23: Who knows what's in store?
    Get what I mean?

I do, but I had no idea the club has been around for 600 years!
