True, but we can only hope that he loves it so much at QPR that money won't be the motivating factor for him. Just look at how Wells is getting on at Bristol City or Hugill at Norwich, they would both have faired better being at QPR.

Money talks , footballers have short careers, despite how much they earn . I bet Hugil and Wells would both move again if more money was offered elsewhere.I don’t see any club offering Austin that kind of money this time round , maybe if we offered him a longer deal but on less money then that might swing it .If WBA choose to activate his one year contract extension then it’s all irrelevant anyway.

At that money we cant afford him we're probably paying maybe 1/3 of his wages at the moment cant believe we'd be paying half, and unless he's prepared to take a massive cut he ain't coming here next year

If you Google WBA Players wages the first hit has Austin at £77,000 per week. Only thing is his contract is up end of season and I cannot see many Championship paying him a fraction of that.
