I think UEFA should bring back the cup winners cup as it would make the FA cup more interesting and competitive and a way into European football, then the winners of that competition will qualify for the following seasons champions league.

That's exactly how it does work now. Just that the cup winners cup had been renamed the Europa Cup.
That's why Man Utd put so effort into the Euro League one season when their EPL position wouldnt get them a champions league spot. -
