Yep and problem is we are bottom end Championship so a lot of players will wait to see if something better comes along before accepting. Not much we can do about it.

They can offer at least the same wages as we can and credibly offer Premier League football as a possibility next year. We could offer silly money/wages to get our man but past 10years have proven that ends in disaster. Maybe if it's a tug of war between us, Barnsley and Luton we might be the winner but the minute likes of Brentford, Bristol City, Derby and most other clubs become involved it's unlikely we'll prevail.
Whilst we continue to average 13K crowds and finish in bottom half of the table we have to accept that we are going to get outbid most times we go shopping.
