Anyone know what the actual deal was for him? It seems it was around £1.5 million upfront but was there any appearance or promotion clauses included? If promotion clauses were part of it, the club had a dilemma on Weds. Surely the extra cash is more important to club right now than dropping a maximum of 2 further places.

yeah... but there would be a massive fine if we didn't appear to make a real attempt to win the game by fielding a weak team (that said, we only seem to have about 16 players who we could field at the moment).
