I think fact we have played 3 sides with everything to play for has been a big factor too. We did apply ourselves much better last night but I can't help feeling that our opponents have had more riding on the games and have just had that bit more ooomph about their performance and application.
This isn't a criticism of us, just how it is playing ghost football with no fans. I'd imagine over last games this might not be so much of a factor but it is conceivable that all our remaining opponents will have a majorr need for 3pts. I suppose if we keep losing and the pack keep closing we too will urgently require points and maybe that will give us an extra 5%?
